GO WILD! 30 Plants for a Naturalistic Planting Design

After the form of the flower, seedbuds or afterlife of plants are most important and after this the texture of leaves and on the last place the color of the flowers. Structure is important in creating a succesful planting.

The forms of the different plants in your border are important. Wild plants are in better proportion ( flowers/green ) than most cultivated plants . For decades flowers where more important and growers grown them for this purpose, this can be seen by most cottage-plants.

Most common gardenplants have big flowers and not so much green , so they don’t look so pretty after the flowers are gone and this is most of the time a short period during summer.

Natural planting designs make us look from a new pespective so we can create gardens wich are great to look at the whole year.
